Frisvelt

Remnants of Friscelia, the Old Kingdom

"They believed the trinity formed a cycle, a different one would give the blessing to the new king of Friscelia. Should their reign prove deserving of the blessing, the king would ascend to be beside their benefactor, leaving their kingdom below in an age of glory."

The modern day Confederation of Frisvelt has buried ruins of the old kingdom, most that are easily found have been defaced, seeing as the days and stories of the Crimson Conflicts have not yet faded. The old gods and the past glories have crumbled, cursed by the people to be forgotten. The trinity is now known to be the dark gods, who brought calamity and ruin upon the kingdom, failing its people.

The Triumvirate Cities

Cohlgis is a mining city, situated at the base and edge of the Manar mountain range. It is an industry-heavy city, covered in the smoke, soot, and ash from its forges. During the harsh winters, it is known to be the "Hearth of Frisvelt".

Hielaad is a city walled by ivied ornate stone, and obscured by the surrounding trees. It lays near the Lugrin mountains, and close to the shores, across from the ruins of the old capital, Mauzdin. The city is built among the ruins of an old seaside fortress, once providing another source of protection on both land and sea. Nearby are smaller harbour towns, situated around Falher Bay.

Salhen is the seaside city that stands guard at Frisvelt's northern border. They keep a watchful eye on their neighbour, Meyalzur. Heavily militarized, fierce on both land and sea, they often sail in the northern Iskintal Sea, reminding western inhabitants of Meyalzur of their prowess. They sometimes exchange ships with Hielaad in the south, who sends up resources and trade goods northwards, while Salhen provides support in times of need.

The Free States

Frisvelt is made up of semi-independent counties, some of whom ally themselves with the Dukes/Triumvirate cities, while others maintain their own sovereignty.
